We battled up against the blowing gale trying not mention what had tore at our hearts; tears drying on our cheeks.
The gloomy skyline and pissing rain only sought to maintain sullen fever
Our subtle deadened hands tightly gripped inside my coat
Though we could barely feel the skin there was very little spoken
We’d already been through every feeling, every thought
Drained of fervour. Worn out vibe. Withdrawn and weary eyed...

And just like that the clouds began to bare rays of sun that cut right through the air and beamed like a laser right across the damp sand. A momentary breach of the silence that had grown. Our grip began to loosen and a wistful smile rose.
